What to expect

This procedure consists of 3 parts, all performed in interval of two to three days.

Part 1 done on the first day  takes about 15-20 minutes, and involves removing old/broken tooth restorations and preparing the tooth for a new restoration and completing the restoration.

Part 2 is also done on the first day takes about 45-60 minutes, and consists of meticulous preparation of the tooth in such a way that a new crown shall fit perfectly on the tooth. Once the tooth preparations are over impressions are  made manually or  using 3D scanning, designing, and printing technology  

Part 3 takes about 40-60 minutes. We fit, cement, and make final adjustments to the new restoration. Some gum irritation is expected and will resolve itself in a few days with good oral hygiene.

Dental Bridges

A bridge is one or more artificial teeth cemented into place using the teeth on either side for support. A bridge is an ideal method to fill the space created by missing teeth, and to restore the function and appearance of a full set of teeth. Bridge work is as much an art as it is an exact science since it replaces a missing tooth both functionally and cosmetically. The materials used may be gold alloys, porcelain bonded to metal alloy, or all ceramic material made to match your natural tooth color. The choice of material depends on requirements for strength, wear, and aesthetics.

It is important that a missing tooth be replaced as soon as possible. If not treated, the teeth surrounding the gap begin to shift inward. Since teeth use their neighbors for support, if one is missing they begin to “fall” and shift into the open spaces.
